The Control of God, by the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ in Acts
A key issue in enlightened narrative reading is to understand “who is in charge?” Who has a vested interest in the success of the plot? The following quotes from scripture have been included in this series of lessons to help us keep keenly aware of God’s presence in the action in Acts. It is the beginning story of Deity at work in the evangelism of the world (Col. 2:9). They changed the laws of nature to give validity to the message of the preachers we read about in this great evangelism story (Heb. 2:2-4; Rom. 10:14, 15).
